Paul Joseph Brown
The founder of Ecosystem Photo, Paul Joseph Brown,
is an award-winning photojournalist whose career
spans more than 25 years. His work has taken him to
16 countries on five continents to cover history unfolding,
including wars and revolutions, elections, and
natural disasters.
Throughout his career, Paul Joseph Brown has worked
extensively on long-term projects, collaborating with
writers, editors, and public relations and corporate communications professionals. For the last
ten years he has specialized in environmental stories and projects, which led to the founding of
Ecosystem Photo.
Combining a documentarian’s understanding of how to distill a complex story, a journalistic
sixth-sense for what’s important, and a photographer’s skill at creating powerful imagery
regardless of the subject matter, Ecosystem Photo creates visual narratives that compel
people to change the way they look at the world.
